| 英国打工旅游签证 - UK Working Holiday Maker Scheme |
With effect from Monday 16 October 2006 the suspension of the Working Holidaymakers Scheme in Malaysia will be lifted.
The relevant application form, checklist and supplementary questionnaire can be found on this website: www.vfs.com.my
Purpose: allow young Commonwealth citizens to come to the United Kingdom for an extended holiday (up to 2 years). Their holiday may be funded by taking work provided this is incidental to the holiday.
1.申请准则
Requirements for leave to enter as a working holidaymaker The requirements to be met by a person seeking leave to enter the United Kingdom as a working holidaymaker are that he:

Is a national or citizen of a country listed in Appendix 3 of these Rules, or a British Overseas Citizen; a British Overseas Territories Citizen; or a British National (Overseas); and |

Is aged between 17 and 30 inclusive or was so aged at the date of his application for leave to enter; and |

(a) Is unmarried and is not a civil partner, OR
(b) Is married to, or the civil partner of, a person who meets the requirements of this paragraph and the parties to the marriage or civil partnership intend to take a working holiday together; and |

Has the means to pay for his return or onward journey, and |
| » |
Is able and intends to maintain and accommodate himself without recourse to public funds; and |
| » |
Is intending only to take employment incidental to a holiday, and not to engage in business, or to provide services as a professional sportsperson, and in any event not to work for more than 12 months during his stay; and |

Does not have dependent children any of whom are 5 years of age or over or who will reach 5 years of age before the applicant completes his working holiday; and |

Intends to leave the UK at the end of his working holiday: and |
| » |
Has not spent time in the United Kingdom on a previous working holidaymaker entry clearance; and |
| » |
Holds a valid United Kingdom entry clearance, granted for a limited period not exceeding 2 years, for entry in this capacity. |
Leave to enter as a working holidaymaker
A person seeking to enter the United Kingdom as a working holidaymaker may be admitted provided he is able to produce on arrival a valid United Kingdom entry clearance granted for a period not exceeding 2 years for entry in this capacity.
Refusal of leave to enter as a working holidaymaker
Leave to enter as a working holidaymaker is to be refused if a valid United Kingdom entry clearance for entry in this capacity is not produced to the Immigration Officer on arrival.

You should apply for an entry clearance at the UK Mission in the country where you are normally and legally resident.

Monday-Friday ( excluding High Commission holidays).
Made applications from 8 am – 3 pm ( 12.30 pm – 1.30 pm lunch break )

3.申请费用及方法
1. ENTRY CLEARANCE FEES FROM 01-04-2007 for Working Holiday Maker visa fees RM 1440.00 ( subject to change without any notice, pls refer Website : www.vfs.com.my ).
2. Bank draft can be purchased from VFS Application Centers.
3. Fees should be paid in RM in the form of a Bank Draft ONLY, made payable to the “ British High Commission”.

Interview
If applicants are called in for interview, The British High Commission only has the capacity to conduct interviews in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Cantonese. For any other languages, the applicant will need to bring with them a court appointed interpreter. No other interpreter will be accept.
